Waiver & Release of Liability – Mirimiri & Romiromi

Please read carefully before participating in any session.

By booking and receiving Mirimiri or Romiromi services, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that Mirimiri and Romiromi are traditional Māori healing practices intended to support overall wellbeing. I acknowledge that my participation is entirely voluntary.

2. Not a Medical Service

I understand that these services are not a medical treatment, diagnosis, or prescription, and do not replace medical care provided by a qualified health professional. I agree to seek medical advice for any health concerns and will not rely solely on these services for medical conditions.

3. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that, as with any bodywork or holistic practice, there may be physical or emotional responses during or after a session. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in Mirimiri and Romiromi, including but not limited to temporary discomfort, emotional release, or lack of expected results.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the practitioner(s) from any and all claims, liability, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with my participation in Mirimiri and Romiromi sessions. This includes, but is not limited to, dissatisfaction with the service, adverse reactions, or perceived lack of results.

5. Personal Responsibility

I confirm that I have disclosed all relevant health information to the practitioner, including injuries, medical conditions, or concerns. I take full responsibility for my own health, choices, and actions before, during, and after the session.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

I understand that:

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an appointment may result in a cancellation fee.

  • No refunds will be issued for completed sessions, regardless of outcome.

7. Acknowledgement

By proceeding with this service, I confirm that I have read and understood this Waiver & Release of Liability, and I agree to its terms knowingly and voluntarily.
