Honouring the Land and Its First Peoples

At Te Puna Waiora, we are humbled and grateful to practise the sacred healing traditions of Māori Romiromi and Mirimiri here on the lands of Australia. We pay deep respect to the Traditional Custodians of this land, their ancestors and their ongoing connection to land, waters and community. We acknowledge the wisdom, spirit, and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and honour their rich healing traditions that have cared for this land for thousands of years.

As manuhiri (visitors) to this whenua, we tread gently, with aroha and deep reverence — holding space that respects both our Māori lineage and the cultural strength of the First Peoples of Australia.
