Preparing for Your Mirimiri or Romiromi Session

To make the most of your healing experience, please take a moment to prepare in the following ways:

1. Before Your Session

  • Hydrate: Drink water before you arrive (and after your session) to support cleansing and energy flow.

  • Eat lightly: Avoid heavy meals immediately before your session. A light snack is fine.

  • Avoid alcohol or drugs: Please do not consume alcohol or recreational drugs before your appointment, as this may affect your safety and the healing process.

  • Clothing: Wear light, comfortable clothing. You may be asked to remove shoes and jewellery.

2. Health & Safety

  • Medical conditions: Let your practitioner know of any injuries, illnesses, pregnancy, or medical concerns before the session begins.

  • Feeling unwell: If you are sick (flu, fever, stomach illness, or contagious condition), please reschedule your appointment.

3. Mindset & Intention

  • Arrive with an open heart and mind.

  • You may wish to set a quiet intention for what you would like to release or invite into your healing journey.

  • Be ready to allow emotions or sensations to arise — this is a natural part of the healing process.

4. During the Session

  • Communication is welcome: If at any point you feel uncomfortable or need an adjustment, let the practitioner know.

  • Relax and receive: Mirimiri and Romiromi work deeply on body, mind, and spirit. Trust the process and allow your body to release what it needs to.

5. Aftercare

  • Drink plenty of water to support the body’s natural release process.

  • Rest if you feel tired — healing can continue for hours or days afterwards.

  • Gentle exercise, journaling, or quiet reflection may help integrate your experience.

  • Avoid alcohol, heavy foods, or stressful activities immediately after if possible.
